Battery Module Warranty
- The customer is responsible for correct storage and must maintain the charge on the battery pack to prolong the battery pack life. New packs can be stored for up to 3 months without recharge Tieline recommends charging every 3 months if possible). Self discharge at room temperature is around 5% per month but allow for 10% due to any minimal load the Power Control Module (PCM) may place on the battery and higher temperatures which slightly increase self discharge. Tieline Pty Ltd recommends that users become familiar with factors that impact the usable operational life that is available from Lithium based batteries.
- The battery pack is RoHS and WEEE compliant is conditionally warranted for a period of 6 months from the date of sale from Tieline Pty Ltd for defective workmanship or product failure under normal usage conditions for which the battery pack was designed.
- Warranty is based on the condition that the period of time from the point of sale is less than that outlined in point 1 of theses warranty conditions, the customer returns the defective battery pack to Tieline Pty Ltd at the customers expense with a clearly written fault description and usage condition eg Model of Codec and Serial number of Codec and the communication configuration (GSM / POTS / ISDN etc.). After testing and verification of any defect if Warranty is accepted, Tieline Pty Ltd will send out a replacement battery pack to the customer or notify the customer as to the non acceptance of the product under the Warranty provisions.
- The warranty period of the replacement pack is based on the original date of purchase from Tieline Pty Ltd and NOT from the date of issue of the replacement product.
